Dear Friends from all over the world,
just think that my quick focaccia bread with chopped sage, fixed and “baked” just in 12 minutes is a MUST HAVE when you are in a hurry and you forgot to buy bread!
You don’t even need the oven: just knead it in 2 minutes and it will be ready after 10 minutes in a pan on the stove!

Approximately 250 g of self rising flour (if by chance you drop in a little too much liquid, while kneading, just add a tablespoon more of flour)
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 tablespoons milk
chopped sage (some leaves), salt, water: quantity to your needs
1. Knead flour, oil, sage, milk and add salt and water as needed to obtain a homogeneous mass, which doesn’t stick to your hands and to the bowl or board you are using to knead
2. On floured surface roll with your rolling pin a disk of dough less think than a finger
3. Brush a pan with oil
4. Cook your focaccia bread, covered with a lid, 5 to 6 minutes per side over medium heat.
NOTE: The focaccia bread with chopped sage will still be soft even after many hours!
I am sure that you can knead it with using just water, but I prefer to use a percentage of milk ‘cause I know that some people may suffer from stomach discomfort due to baking powder, and milk helps a bit.
